Indian River County offers several different educational choices. Sebastian High School offers IB and a great number of extra curricular activities. Vero Beach High School has opened a new performing art center and the Charter High School students can write their own schedules often around their jobs. Student at Charter can be dual enrolled at Indian River Community College and earn their 2 yr degree while in high school. Students can also earn their Bachelors degree due to the partnership between IRCC and Florida Atlantic University. There is also an assortment of private and magnet schools to choose from.
Churches also abound from small historical churches where everyone knows you to enormous congregations complete with gymnasium.
