Jim Goldsmith

I started my Real Estate Career with the gentle urging of my wife Tanya. I was forced to retire from ministry due to health reasons, so I began my selling career selling burglar alarms door to door and making good money at it. I used the same principles I used building Treasure Coast Baptist Church back in 1989 and that was to see a lot of people face to face in a short amount of time with a compelling message. Back then it was the Gospel message, but after the Church days it was about providing my family security and peace of mind for a little less than a dollar a day.

Today that message has changed. It’s about helping people realize their Real Estate dreams and solving problems for clients regarding selling or purchasing. I started as a rookie realtor in 1999. Working “half days” (12 hr days) to edge out the competition. Slowly success began to come as I kept learning and progressing. As business took off Tanya and I started Goldsmith Team Real Estate. The company grew to over 50 realtors. While in the middle of the recent economic downturn, we were able to form a merger with a larger company where I managed one of the company’s 6 branches located throughout Florida. 8 years later, I am back and now working with Dale Sorensen Real Estate. I have moved into the Managing Broker position at the Downtown office where I over see our day to day sales operations, agents and office staff. We are constantly working to improve our company. I'm happy & proud to be here.
